It's tough having to go back

After 37 days in the NICU, and then 13 days at home it is tough when you have to bring your baby back to the hospital. Carson has been at the CPMC since early Wed morning and the doctors say he will probably be there at least a week. The good news is he is in great hands and they know exactly what he has (RSV) and how to treat it. Carson is also eating well and in fact when they weighed him yesterday he was up to 6 pounds 2 ounces! Because of his chest congestion he does struggle a bit to breathe and thus he is on assisted oxygen with the nasal prongs. Sorry no pictures as Carson does not want anyone seeing him in this state. (ok actually that is my call) Rest assured he looks great, still has the same eyes and double chin and definitely feels heavier. He just sleeps a lot and then wakes up to eat. We can hold him as much as we want as he enjoys our company and touch. As was the last hospital CPMC is first rate, it even has a great view of Twin Peaks, unfortunately just not from Carson's room. Today we will visit him again and hopefully have more updates. Thanks for everyone's support and for the votes on the poll.
