I'm sure while I was gone, Jason did a great job. He had a big milestone to cover - first pictures day at school. Once we get those back, I will definitely share. And, I’m just hoping that everything looks good (I'm sure it will). In addition to pics, Jason had to deal with the latest and greatest. Right now, our biggest challenge is picky eating. It's a total struggle everyday to get him to eat a well-balanced diet. I admit, we have been super lazy about not forcing him to eat things (AKA vegetables), but we are starting to crack down. And, it's making life a little tougher. Hopefully our picky-eating stage is just that- a stage. I'm hoping Carson doesn't follow after mom as when I was a kid I was a TERRIBLE eater. Fingers crossed.
Other than that Carson is thriving. We have two months of preschool under our belts, and he's learning so much. He loves to read and now we barely even turn on the TV at home. Some of the latest faves are the Skippyjon Jones and Thomas the Train books (thanks Aunties Chris and Lily). It's pretty cool to watch Carson grab books and read them on his own.
And this weekend we celebrate Daddy - it's a very big birthday and Carson's working on some special stuff for Dad. Hopefully he likes it.
