Where does the time go...

I can't seem to figure out how it got to be two days before Thanksgiving. I feel like time is flying by so quickly. Jason and I go into Carson's room every night before we go to bed to say goodnight. It used to be we did this because we wanted to make sure he was breathing (after apnea in the hospital) then to make sure he was breathing because of SIDS, and now it's just laugh about what position he has contorted himself into.

Everday with Carson gets more and more fun too. I don't know how quite to describe it other than he is a lot like me. He loves to laugh and is VERY easily amused. He loves making Jason and I crack up, he likes to perform for the camera (is there a video camera without a little red light), and he loves to anticipate you doing things to make him laugh. I know most soon-to-be one-year olds are like this, but I'll pretend for a moment it's just Carson. He loves to humor me when I "wrestle" with him - giving him as many kisses as humanly possible and throwing him around on our bed. I know it freaks out Jason but Carson and I just crack up. (Sorry honey, I love it.) And feeding time is always an adventure in messy. I don't care too much, I figure it's just food and he's just being a boy.

And, when I'm gone at work, he has found a new hobby. He loves to teach his new friend Emma all of his tricks. She hasn't quite mastered standing yet, but Carson is teaching her a thing or two about his activity table.

So, that's the latest. I feel like before we know it Carson will be a year (12/12) and then it will be Christmas, then 2009. Time flies...
