Carson's first Halloween

So Carson continues to be busy. I was lucky enough to take the day off work and spend the whole day with Carson. He got him all dressed up in his fuzzy puppy dog costume and headed down to Chestnut Street for the annual parade. I had never been but what I thought was a parade turned out to be "walk down the sidewalk with your kids and collect candy".

Getting ready for his first Halloween

Carson at the Chestnut Street Parade

Since Carson has not yet discovered the joys of sugar, not much candy was had (except for a few piece by me). We ran into our friend Liz and her daughter Heidi who were having a great time trick or treating for the first time. Then met up with Ann and Emma for lunch. As you can see, the kids were loving their new toys - metal spoons. Hours of fun can be had with spoons.

Carson and Emma "spooning"
And Carson continues to get stronger and more daring. His favorite things are to pull himslef up on ANYTHING possible and stand and jump. He then lets go and practices his balance. We need to get some video because it's pretty cool. He has even mastered falling, no bonking of the head at all, just a smooth fall on the butt now. What a brillant little boy we have. And he loves standing in our bay window checking out the scenery.
Not sure if he likes this biscuit
Hmmm, pretty good

Even better when he writes on the window with it
