March Madness!

Carson has had a big month, he has grown tremendously and at today's unofficial weigh in he is about 11 1/4 pounds! Over the last two weeks Carson has attended his friend's Jackson (2 years) Dilan's (1 year) birthday parties and hung out with his friends at playgroup. On Saturday night he finally got to meet some of my Aunts, Uncle and cousins.(check out the pics)

Over the last week he has been glued to the TV set in anticipation of March Madness! Selection Sunday was especially nerve racking as he was waiting to see if his inherited favorite team Arizona would make the tourney. And they did in the final bracket! (ok well not sure how nervous Carson was, but Allison was going crazy) Carson is now busy filling out his brackets! During this time Carson's dad (that's me) has been teaching him the intricacies of bracketology, the bubble and explaining RPI, SOS and telling him (actually Allison) why Arizona would make it. But it sure did not help that the bubble was shrinking by the day. Now that Arizona is in we can at least look forward to Thursday and the start of the tourney. It is going to be a busy week filling out brackets and at the same time getting an education in baseball as dad prepares for his fantasy draft on Saturday. Besides being educated in sports Carson is busy learning how to stare more intently at faces, smile and do mini-pushups. Also Carson's room is finally being painted and should be complete this week, so stay tuned for pics.
