17 months

Happy Belated 17 months, I can't believe Carson has been walking and now running around for over 3 months. Carson is turning into such the toddler, he loves to run, dance, laugh and even sometimes talk. He only has a few words, but he is trying really hard. Maybe it is because he is learning 4 languages that he is confused! Once a week he hears some Chinese from my parents, everyday he hears English, 4 days a week of some Russian and almost everyday we read a book (a very short story) in Spanish. He is also such a city boy, in that he loves the cement sidewalks, buses, garbage trucks, motorcycles, taxis, ambulance and fire engines and he always turns around when hears any of them. But we also do get him out to the parks, and San Francisco has some great ones. Last weekend we enjoyed China Beach, a little known beach out in Seacliff, and then on Mother's Day Carson took Mom out for a hike at Land's End. At first he was hesitant of the surf, but before long we had to keep him from running in, and he loved the sand so much he wanted to and did eat some. As for the hike he loves those until he gets tired after taking a little spill.
