OK, I know it sounds totally pretentious to call Carson perfect, but let me put it into context. When Carson was born 10 weeks early, weighing 2 lbs 10 ozs, the doctors told us the first two years might be tough. He would be underweight, underdeveloped, sick all the time, and may have developmental issues. I think that was their way of planning for the worst. So, in the back of my mind I expected Carson to take a little while to catch up. Yesterday we had Carson's 15 month check up and shots. As our pediatrician did all the weighing and measuring and question asking, she just nodded her head. Then, she looked at me all serious and said - not in her wildest dreams had she thought Carson would be doing so well. She said "He's perfect". He has turned into your happy, healthy picture perfect 15 month old weighing a whopping 24 lbs 2 ozs!! Who would have guessed?

He is just so happy and PERFECT!! :) What a great checkup. Can't believe it's going so fast... hope all is well with you guys!
