Quick update with lots of pics

I think it's finally hit me that Carson is becoming a toddler. I don't know why it seems like such a surprise to me. But as I look at these recent pictures of him, I don't see much of the little baby he once was. Now this little man is really taking shape. Not even in his physical appearance - even though that's a huge part. But his personality is becoming so much more defined. He's social, funny, seeks approval, a little mischievous, curious, and a watcher. I'm sure I'll have an even longer list a week from now since I feel like everyday he changes.

But right now, he's begun to walk but is still pretty unsure of himself. He demands mom's finger or dad's pant leg as a source of support. And now he just walks and walks and walks. He loves the park so much and is fascinated by the other big kids. He loves doing something and getting a reaction out of Jason or me. And he gets truly proud of himself when he figures out a toy or acrobatic act.

We are truly blessed for a healthy happy little guy and feel so lucky knowing how small and fragile he was in the beginning. We miss you all and if you come for a visit, Carson will now be able to give you a real kiss - one of the ways he now indulges mommy.

Happy guy
