Daddy duty week 2

It's been a great week so far and time flies as usual. This is my second week of full time daddy duty since Renata is on vacation and it is fun, tiring and rewarding. On Sunday we took Carson on a hike to the Marin headlands for my birthday and then to Sams in Tiburon, and he loved the new Ergo carrier I carried him in, much better than a Bjorn. On Monday we took Carson in for his 9 month checkup and his Dr. said she has to keep on reminding herself that he was a preemie, because he does not look it. He weighed in at an impressive 20lbs 15ozs (and is therefore as I correctly calculated over 7 times his birth weight) he also measured 28 1/4 inches and he is right on the 50th percentile line for weight and height. He also got his flu shot, and that hurt. Carson is really growing up fast, and although he crawls, he really likes to stand and I think he wants to learn how to walk. Also he is starting to get his first tooth, lower middle left, when I get a good shot I will post it.

Having fun, note the drool!

Sunday - View from the Point Bonita Lighthouse - Yes Carson is under their sleeping, and although it looks like I am arching my back it really was comfortable.
.
Today - Waving or just really hamming it up.
